One of the best roasted eel livers in Tokyo. The eel rice is also very good

Some eel sets ( the daily limited special ) take 40 mins so we did not get that. It was good but not as good as I would have imagined. There def is a different in quality of fish. The more expensive set ( in the red box ) had a fuller fattier fish. The one in the white bowl was slimmer and felt rougher. Don’t expect much service.

I found the texture of the eel very rough and scaly, which wasn’t my experience in other places in Tokyo or in New York. The price was expensive for the quality of the food. The restaurant was smoking friendly so all the smoke around us was not pleasant either. Overall would not go back.

Very good tradition unagi don

I’ve come to Japan for #ToyotaPresidentTrip from Thailand. We’ve visit Unagi Shibuya Matsukawa. Unaju is the best you can choose the size. Unagi is fresh cooked smell with sauce ummmm ... how marvelous Usu orange sherbet is the best after that. RECOMMEND!!!
